Irma rolled through last weekend.
I can't say it was fun, however we were absurdly fortunate. She managed to downgrade her winds by the time she reached us, and Ocala got Category 1 winds. Thankfully, due to our location and beautiful rolling terrain, we had zero flooding issues. Of course, we have a bazillion trees in the pastures (great for shade, bad for hurricanes). We lost four trees, only about 15' of pasture fence, 8' of decorative fence, and there were small branches and debris everywhere. No house damage, no barn damage, and most importantly, no horse damage.
