So, naturally, having had 11 months riding by ourselves has turned her into a raging lunatic. Our new boarder rides regularly at the same time we normally do, which had me like "yay! practice for spazz-face!" Yeah. It's been pretty crazy practice. Twice so far. The first time, just all-around bouncing around if the other horse trotted or cantered by (cough:: 30 feet away). The second time, she could handle the trotting/cantering by, but apparently, when the other horse is 80 feet away and gets tapped with a crop, she couldn't handle that.
Which is the first time spazz has ever actually reared with me.
Now, the little "pops" up and down in front are her standard go-to when she's upset about something. But this time, I'm talking full-on rear, in the air for a solid two seconds.
At least the newly-tamed mustang has been a joy to work with lately.
And has a sheet that fits finally! (63" - so smol!)
